- Today in TM enforcement PR disasters, a fun story: a Tennessee middle school that had been using the bearcats mascot and Cincinnati's "C" logo for 50 years got a C&D from Cincinnati. Xavier swooped in, authorized them to use *their* mascot, and even helped with logos, etc. bit.ly/3ZPvBJX

- Troubling story behind the story: for the 2d week in a row, @npr.org's public editor Kelly McBride ran a story in which NPR staff declined to answer her questions. www.npr.org/sections/npr.... I guess that's an improvement--last week @steveinskeep.bsky.social wouldn't talk to her at all.
