- Another cool share from the 100 year old house. This is the old built in media cabinet. It used to have a phonograph in here, and the upper panel slides to reveal the speaker. The special trick though is that the system was wired for remote audio/control using that white wall plate in other rooms.

- This is what that wing tip looks like when deicing on a Cirrus. Tons of micro droplets weeping back across and under the wing that prevents ice buildup. That might actually be the same wingtip in the previous post.
- Cool thing to share today. This is the leading edge of a Cirrus aircraft wing. It is titanium and has tens of thousands of micro holes laser drilled in it. As part of deicing, the channel on the back is pumped full of deice fluid that weeps though the tiny pores on the front edge.
- Ancient ass wiring in families 1927 home. It's copper though. Uncovered behind a cabinet in the garage. It probably used to have wall lights out here when it was a carport.
