- What better way to celebrate trimester 1 results day than to take on another class to audit? Quick wander around a wind swept St Anne's Park before meeting up with class. Out to Bull Island for a talk about its history and future and to get some environmental writing ideas.
- Yes! Totally here for more Jessica Jones!
- JESSICA!! Marvel Television’s Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 | Teaser Trailer youtu.be/sBVjIlTjoIk?... via @YouTube
- Yay! All my term 1 portfolios have just been submitted! And I got to read a short snippet from my poetry portfolio at the Irish Writers Centre Christmas party yesterday :) Now back to the Bones binge...
- I'm in this so everyone should buy it! :)
- I should probably practice or something... (but excited!)
- No, *you've* already got too many books still to read and shouldn't be buying anymore! Mine are dissertation research. Totally legit.
- Looking forward to reading from my work at this event!

- Reading week ambitions. Might even be achievable... if not for the pesky writing ambitions alongside!
- Very excited and grateful to be a contributor to this issue!
- I'm baa-ack! And torn between "And so it begins" and "This is where the fun begins".
- FFS. Can't even. :(
- All the things I'm trying to get read and returned to the library before the Masters takes over my life...
- Excellent couple of sessions at IWC open day today. Always encouraging to hear successful writers talk about how they started. And a great "Top 10 tips" for polishing that novel. @irishwriterscentre.bsky.social
- Recent new arrivals! I stumbled upon the Irish Kidlit for Palestine appeal a couple weeks ago and somehow ended up with these arriving in the post :) Both beautifully personalised with notes and art and i can't wait to dig in! @kelmenton.bsky.social @susancahill.bsky.social @rurooie.bsky.social
- Finished reading this over the weekend. I bought it for a friend due to a staff picks note on the bookshelf. Was totally enthused at when I went to pay... so picked up a library copy :) Worth the enthusiasm and first book in a while I've voraciously "consumed". @emiliahart.bsky.social
- Reposted by Amanda HillA reminder of John Boyne’s own words and why decent-minded people might not wish to be on a prize list with him. He thinks women who support trans rights are “ready to pin a handmaiden down while her husband rapes her.” No one’s “cancelling” him; we just don’t want to be associated with him.
- Reposted by Amanda HillThanks to RFKJ’s rhetoric, CDC staff got our “shots” early this year. Dark humor aside, live posting our way through this domestic terrorism event at a Federal agency was scary. 180 bullets, an officer lost his life, and workers are traumatized. Why the fu** isn’t this getting more attention?
- My growing list of books to buy...
- As an aspiring writer, I can only imagine how heart breaking this must be for the authors (especially the first timers) to have the incredible achievement of being longlisted, only to be faced with this tough decision. Regardless of whether they stay or withdraw.
