I have a pet racing pigeon someone dumped here. He doesn’t eat any more than my Parrots or Cockatiels do, in fact he probably eats less and he’s a big bird.

He doesn’t like me. A former student found him in her yard, he was hungry & tired, she thought he was tame, she brought him to me because I have a bird room. He’s been here 10+ years and still puffs up and tries to slap me with his wing when I put my hand in his cage.🙄
Oh, no! Maybe he's sulky — misses his racing days!
And even if he did get home, the guy would probably have broken his neck. So he’s better off here in his Great Dane crate with perches to fly up to…☺️
