- To "yes, and" this thread, it's also why generative AI is intrinsically authoritarian. It produces credible misinformation at scale, leading to an ignorant populace that believes itself educated, and thus, vulnerable to authoritarians of all stripes. Especially when used to replace journalism.

- Periodic reminder that there are no material obstacles to us doing so, and ample benefits we could gain if we did. All the more so if we become the good neighbors to Canada and Mexico that we ought to be.

- One of these types was imposed on a strike team I was on. His other strike teams were all crunching, we were not. He tried to impose a less effective tasking regime on us, and when I pointed out the one we had was working well for us (we hit our deadlines without crunch) he tried to get me fired.
