- Fruits Records opens 2026 with two heavy 7-inch shots. Earl Sixteen sounds timeless on the stepper 'My Son', while Young Kulcha’s 'More Work To Be Done' perfectly captures that raw 1980s dancehall aesthetic. Pure sound system pressure on black wax.
- Skip Marley hits position 1 with 'In Our Sight', swapping spots with Kashief Lindo. Sean Paul climbs into the Top 5 at 4. New entries from Keznamdi at 23 and Hopeton Lindo & Anthony Malvo at 24 keep the chart fresh as we say goodbye to Turbulence and Chronixx.
- Skippa holds #1 for a second week with 'WYFL'. The Top 5 sees 'Boom Body' and 'Currency' climbing, while the top three remains unchanged. Big newcomers this week as Chronic Law & Skillibeng enter with 'No Check' at 23 and Nigy Boy debuts 'Risk It All' at 24.
- #REview 'Addis Ababa' is a restrained, meditative debut from IZN Anbessas. Spiritual roots reggae with careful production by Mr Dub-T Key and solid mastering from Nick Manasseh. Slow tempos, reflective vocals, and a sparse harmonica dub to close it out.
- Double 12" Spin | Al Campbell's 'Try My Love' on Fashion and Natural Ites' 'Cry For You' from their final set. Two lovers rock cuts that show the UK scene's range. Campbell brings that veteran smoothness while Natural Ites prove they could shift from roots anthems to romance without missing a beat.
- #Review Ras Ajai's 'The Recap Album' bridges past and future with 12 tracks that cover spiritual reggae, lovers rock, and conscious rebel energy. From 'Angel' to 'Revolution Time', it's honest, well-balanced, and worth spinning front to back. A strong preview before his 2026 debut drops.
- ‘Key To The World’ is a perfect example of a song crossing genres without losing its heart. L.J. Reynolds’ 1981 soul original set the tone, but Ruddy Thomas’ 1982 reggae cut on Hawkeye Records gave it a whole new temperature. Same sentiment, different soul. Same message, different temperature.
- Samora and Ammoye earn a 2026 JUNO nomination for ‘More Reggae (Funk It Up)’. Recorded in Bern, rooted in shared love for the music, and proof that reggae’s global dialogue is very much alive and evolving. Big respect to everyone involved!
- The 'In The Mood' EP from Hopeton Lindo and Fiona is a masterclass in modern lovers rock. It features chart-toppers like 'Guilty' alongside soulful covers of 'Yes I’m Ready' and 'You Don’t Have To Be A Star'. Smooth production from Irie Pen & the Taxi crew. A solid six-track set for the collection.
- #REview Randy's 50th Anniversary finally on vinyl. Ska to rocksteady to early reggae in one clean arc. Lord Creator, Alton Ellis, The Wailers, Tosh, Drummond, Mittoo. The foundation sounds right at home on black vinyl. Essential for collectors and newcomers alike.
