- Hey, it’s been awhile, let’s chat. 🧵 So, you may have noticed I’ve been more active on the other™️ site. That is for a reason. There’s a few things I want to address. Grievances I have with the direction Bsky is headed in and how it’s affecting myself and has already affected folks I know.
- I’m an adult horror artist. A lot of the things I’m working on constitute erotic horror & gore. The new guidelines are incredibly vague, and could easily apply to my art. Sure, you can say I’m overreacting and it won’t affect fictitious depictions of harm. But I’ve already seen it happen to others.
- I’ve sung a lot of praises for Bsky, and there’s things on here I still very much prefer over Twitter. But I can’t see myself continuing to actively try and grow my livelihood here and then one day my page just vanishes and there goes my source of income and I have to start from scratch.
