- Today on What's in the box? I think I missed the part where this figure is a 1/4.
- Big figure is big, but as ecchi as she looks, the Holo figure doesn't go full lewd like garage kit figures. She's as anatomically correct as a Barbie doll if you catch my drift, which means I'm comfortable displaying her in full glory.
- Isekai Office Worker continues to be refreshingly good, not just from a gay romance perspective but the greater plot of a no-nonsense accountant playing office politics to make sure he doesn't die in a fantasy world he was pulled into.
- A lot of people love her in her loli Shinobu form, but I for one will always love her as the iron-blooded, hot blooded, cold-blooded king of apparitions, Kiss-Shot Acerola-Orion Heart-Under-Blade.
- I paid some good money for her figure too. That's how much I love her true vampire form.
- It's hard not to relate to Asa's relationship between her mother and Makio. To grow up with a controlling parent then suddenly find yourself with guardian figure who truly allows you to make you own choices is hard and scary. I love how Ikoku Nikki keeps this so real.
- Makio also continues to spout wisdom. In this case, the same one I tell my kids. How I feel about my mother is born of my experiences. I will not let my subjective lens cloud their experiences with their grandmother. That is for them to decide.
- Racist weebs would be triggered by the existence of characters of African descent in Ikoku Nikki. That is if they actually watched more than just one genre of anime to begin with.
- I've never been into anime fandom, but Hana-Kimi would have definitely made fujoshis out of many of its fans during the height of its manga run. It's been a long while, but I can't remember whether the live-action adaptation hit gayness on this level.
- I am very happy that In the Clear Moonlit Dusk, and Journal with Witch finally joins the top 10 alongside Tamin's B-Side and You and I are polar opposites. That said, If Holy Grail of Eris makes a top 10 appearance, I would also be very happy.
- I wanna say that the new Ghost in the Shell will piss off people who haven't read the manga, but I also feel not enough people have watched Ghost in the Shell aside from the original anime movie. So a new generation of people coming in would be nice.
- Ghost in the Shell visuals over the years really honed in the cyberpunk dystopia aesthetic. Science Saru going back to the manga and softening the vibe is an adjustment, but I as a GitS fan, am completely fine with it. I'm even expecting them to give us a goofy Motoko Kusanagi.
- I have high expectations for the Science Saru adaptation. Otherwise, Stand Alone Complex will still be my favourite Ghost in the Shell of the lot.
