- Because "vouchers" aren’t intended to "cover" the cost. They subsidize private schools, allowing them to increase their tuition faster than the subsidies grow. This is what happened in other states. You need to call them subsidies, not vouchers. Vouchers sounds nice but it’s false.

- Re: Kay Granger. Local DFW media are notoriously lax on elected officials so long as they act a certain way. Granger brought billions to DFW, hung around to keep her son out of jail, give time to find her successor w/o a special election.
