"Look at how well I drew this crab!"
- I like how pathfinder elves have huge irises which blot out the sclera, and extremely tall and vertical ears - it's a natural evolution of the fantasy elf while also really selling a quite alien and unnatural look which makes sense because in pathfinder they actually are aliens
- fantasy elves which just look like beautiful humans are incredibly boring. if they're going to act unnaturally graceful and removed, then at least make them look the part "human but different" has always been an issue with fantasy races, so anything that doesn't follow is definitely a right step
- I also like how the pathfinder iconic that's an elf is the rogue, instead of something stereotypically snobbish and removed like a wizard. merisiel is not smart or cunning, but someone with that much life experience should naturally be the most tenacious, world-wise, and resourceful out of the bunch
- the tendency to make elves removed from other people and societies gets weird when you have a 200+ year old guy who apparently still doesn't know about societal customs of the wider world, and we're supposed to believe he just spent all that time getting really good at pottery or something
- this is me every single time I have to choose between burning orphanage and anti paladin's castle I fucking hate when this happens actually
- funny how you can really tell that cage in lunatic runagate was made during the character design era of Many Belts
- let's not forget this one on yukari what purpose does this even serve
- ordering some pairs of women's leggings for myself, so I can finally wear something other than the same pair of snow pants every single goddamn day (I HATE living here)
- a gripe I have with pathfinder 2e is that it has like 300+ weapons, and despite a bevy of possible traits they don't actually feel that different at all
- I keep having dreams about alice margatroid and it really hurts and it's making me miss my friends a lot
- I used to think gensou eclipse was interesting on release, but they pretty quickly started going into the "endless alternate outfits" territory and I had to resign myself to the fact that not being like other touhou gachas was wistful thinking
- pathfinder 2e is the system where it's mechanically optimal for your character to be chinese
- I wanted to make a fan dancing character because I heard there was a fan dancer archetype, I looked at the features and holy fuck this archetype is so good, the feats are not only pretty powerful but also quite flavorful and cohesive with the theming 2e.aonprd.com/Archetypes.a...
- these feats would be even better on like, a damage focused battledancer/fencer swashbuckler or something, but what I had in mind was more of a pure support build. still very good feats even without the build wanting to be in melee
- I heard once that some touhou UFO superplayers have spent like, 200+ hours on optimizing ichirin midnon graze and like, idk to me that's just an unfathomable amount of time to spend practicing a single attack what the fuck
