The situation doesn't look good for the Channel Islands. I am particularly worried for Guernsey, where widespread 160+ km/h (100+ mph) gusts seem likely from Storm Goretti this evening. For Jersey 140-160 km/h seem likely and 100+ possible. This is a very dangerous situation!
