- When I was still in elementary school, 7 or 8 years old, I had babysitters. One of the babysitter got a call saying that my grandfather, my mum's dad, died. The whole atmosphere was doom gloom that day. My babysitters debated among themselves how to break the news to my then-gone mum.
- They broke the news. My mum's back slid against the giant speaker my dad had for TV. "My dad's dead!" she screamed to the phone. I remember she got comforted from her friends, sobbing.
