- Reposted by Dr Cora Beth FraserThere isn't much of 2025 left, but Susanna Elm's new book promises to be the book of the year!! The Importance of Being Gorgeous: Gender and Christian Imperial Rule in Late Antiquity That cover is gorgeous, and it's open-access so you can just download it!
- Reposted by Dr Cora Beth FraserAs I always do with boycotts, I urge: be tough with corporations, gentle with individual buyers. For some people, Black Friday sales are the way they get their kids jackets that fit, shoes that hold up to the weather. Yelling at them doesn’t help the cause.

- Reposted by Dr Cora Beth FraserI guess I now have to do a thread on shoes in ancient Mesopotamia in response to this (which happens to be from one of my favourite accounts). I’m not an archaeologist, nor do I really know anything about shoes, but let’s go on this journey together.
- Reposted by Dr Cora Beth FraserTomorrow is a month away from Xmas Eve. Please have a look to see if you have any children's clothes, books, toys, etc that are no longer needed & donate them to your local charity shop ASAP. The demand for these items is now, not after Xmas. People are skint but still want to make Xmas special. ❤️

- Reposted by Dr Cora Beth FraserWhen using Microsoft Word or Google Docs, don't just make text bigger and bolder to make it a heading. That will work for sighted users, but screen reader users will miss that and just hear it as normal paragraph text. Use actual heading styles, like level 1 through 6.
