Went a couple of weeks ago, but Paris was an amazing trip even with the cold cold cold.
Surprising with all of the people I follow who keep track of all the firehose of EO’s that not many people have seemed to mention the Feds are teeing up all probationary employees to be fired. There’s potentially 220k-ish in the gov and that would be the single largest layoff in US history.
Finally got my hands on some sourdough starter and made a very small test loaf of bread.
Not great, not terrible.
When I was a SNCO at the Pentagon working Global Force Management the AF/Joint Staff civilians were the institutional knowledge of an incredibly complex process.
DoD Civilans have forgotten more about the processes they touch than any of the uniforms who are there for a staff tour will ever know.
