Minerva Zimmerman
Pretend human and own worst enemy. What am I doing here? Where is this? Do I really need to share my opinion on anything? Why should anyone care? Ignore the creature behind the curtain!!! Do not perceive!
- I’m sorry but the world as it is I do not have the just smile and accept a non denominational tract in me today. I will be polite but firm in saying that I’m good, thanks.
- I understand that my “vibe” attracts people who are looking for a sign from god or slightly off from reality— but honestly approaching people randomly in parking lots to tell them about Jesus is just a weird thing to do to anyone
- Sees someone with a “Please be patient with me I’m from the 1990s”— there’s no way they are much too y— oh. Ohhhhh. They mean they were born in the 90s. *crumbles to dust*
- *reads obviously messed up medical bill a bit more closely* …why are they billing Medicare??? I don’t have that— did not give them that information. *grumpily gets on phone*
- Well, isn’t it great that I had to call and be like… uhm no, and they look at their own records which has a literal picture of my insurance card which clearly doesn’t match what someone picked from the drop down menu
- Ok now of course we have to call the insurance and find out why these drop down options are changing between billing and receiving between. *sighs*
- Update 2: insurance has no record of a claim at all under my id but somehow sent provider a denial number. Account is now flagged as needing to deal with the insurance on the provider side but was unable to get flagged on the insurance side because they say no such thing exists
- Anger can be fuel to get things done. I am old enough to know certain topics just make me angry in a way that devours my own energy. I need to guard my energy to use for my purposes. I wish for everyone to know the difference and be able to do the same.
- Every woman you know has been affected professionally in some way by this if they’ve been otherwise victimized or not. Every. Single. One.
- Yeah, so, our system of government has always ACTUALLY required a healthy functioning free press as an outside check and balance-- and it's been undermined steadily in the pivot to digital as media conglomerates have bought up newspaper, radio, television, and digital distribution channels.
- public broadcasting have been some of the only outlets to have weathered this erosion-- so it's not by accident their funding is being cut and further threatened. I don't have any ideas on how to fix this long term. Short term-- yeah, support independent news and public broadcasting where you can.
- Watching a whole lot of people finally grasp the implications of the loss of newspaper journalism that’s been happening like a slow motion car crash for the last 20 years— is a thing.
- Weirdly I’m a lot closer to the right (the mug shelf is a bit too crowded to be near) and Aaron refuses to learn the system. So we end up with a mixed storage system
- Ok now that I have removed the bird from the chimney that was making the quieter dog bark loudly and shrilly— let me try and get breakfast again
- How to remove bird from chimney. Step 1 put all animals in one room close door Step 2 turn off lights Step 3 make clear path to exit (open both house & porch door) Step 4 get large flappy thing (windshield shade) to redirect bird if necessary Step 5 remove chimney access cover Step 6 wait
