- This is so heartbreaking. Like some of the other ppl quoting this post, I never knew her personally, but I always appreciated her written work, especially what she said about vocational awe. I even think that in some of my previous jobs I embodied that, and to my peril. She will certainly be missed.

- If at all possible, I'd love to add a tribute to her in my upcoming newsletter, just to note my appreciation at all she did as a librarian, and her contributions. I wish I had met her in person, but alas, that did not happen.

- Reposted by Burkely HermannI only knew Fobazi through her writing, but my god, WHAT a loss. Her work has had such an impact on librarianship, an influence that will long outlive her heartbreakingly short life. My thoughts are with everyone who knew and loved her.

The mouse's friend was snapped and met its untimely end. That's two mice in one day!
