- For anyone who's reading this that's curious, it has to do with how SNNs (stochasticity, temporal coding) differ from Transformers (probabilistic sampling). One is a self modifying entity that always exists, and can actively learn. The other is simply making predictions when asked.

- We have at least 1 more name to add to the list. 3.5% of the population is all it takes for a revolution, peaceful or otherwise. The US military is roughly ~2.1 million. 3.5% is ~12 million. They can't do shit. So do something.
- Peaceful revolution has a success rate of ~56% and avoids devolving into a dictatorship. Violent ones have ~26% success rate and often fall into dictatorships. The barrier to entry is lower for peaceful as well. So take to the streets. Do not let this happen.
- I had an interaction with @eepybro.bsky.social where we discussed how Democrats look down upon those they disagree with, and how alienating it is. And I realized a parallel: Academic elitism. I've dealt with it personally. For context, I'm a self taught software engineer who's been at it 1/
- as a "hobby" since 1993, and professionally since 2003. Throughout my career, most people have been lovely. But there's another group, and it's always fun to make them shut the fuck up. The group who, simply because I'm not as articulate, or haven't read a paper, believe they're superior. 2/
