- BUT. This morning (3rd February!), I step into my building's hallway... and the entire floor is covered in a fresh layer of pine needles. ?????? 😳🤯
- So, forget the symbolism. This is straight-up mysticism. The only scientific explanation I can muster is that my hearing is now so refined, I subconsciously registered the sound of needles falling from a neighbor's tree through three floors. My ears are either psychic or need to be studied. 🎄👂
- Watched "Oz the Great and Powerful" for the 100 millionth time. The last trip, I found the yellow brick road, a tornado, a Cowardly 🦁, a very sensitive Tin Man, and a wise Scarecrow. I’ve been dreaming of flying 🐒. And my heart? Broken like Theodora’s 💔 So no, I’m not Dorothy. I’m the wicked witch.
- Drank coffee late last night. Ended up talking to imaginary people until 2 a.m. instead of sleeping. And where am I now? Apparently, the conversation was too good to leave… ☕
- Travel observation: I used to think the black-and-white ostriches were so much more elegant and striking than the plain grey ones. ...Until I learned 💘 the grey ones are hens, and the black-and-white ones are roosters 🫣 *Photo for illustration via Google Images.
