- there's a sticky note on my desk with a bulleted list of "advice" and the first item is "scorpions" and I have to keep reminding myself, every time I glance at it, that this is not a suggestion to sic arachnids on evildoers, but for me to stop and stretch in a particular way. oh. yeah.
- At the theater for SEND HELP. This may be out of my horror comfort zone but ... Sam Raimi.
- y'all, the first 20 minutes of ISHTAR are really fucking funny. It's on Tubi. All those snippets of songs (from Paul Williams and Elaine May) are so delightful. I always wish the movie continued along these lines and was a lower-stakes, lower-budget character comedy, pref w/more Carol Kane.
