- All they got was a two-year deal? What is the catch here?
- I’m genuinely curious of how Morey tries to spin the Sixers’ deadline activity.
- Clearly they care about being semi-competitive while playing out the string of Embiid’s contract but then also know they’re not true contenders so they may as well just take in the cash.
- Can’t be like “cash in on a star” when they already have the entire cap covered by three players. The stars have been cashed in on. It was just a bad all-in move.
- I love a Reggie Evans
- Maybe this just means Barlow gets a longer, bigger deal while also staying under the tax
- I don't know who is on the Bulls and Hornets right now.
- I really sincerely do not know who the bulls are
- Ok I know Patrick Williams is there
- shams carries so much water it's insane
- The 24 hours of Bowman-Gray
- I don’t like the McCain trade at all on the surface. Feels like a sell low.
- Was resigned to ducking the tax but you have 20% of the roster filled with complete zeros and have a young guard with some upside and having your most glaring skill need for two years plus restricted free agency. I don’t get it.
- Maximizing this year’s outcome or the odds of acquiring yet another different star to flounder in a secondary role makes no sense. Embiid can’t perform to his contract. We have three max contracts and precious little flexibility because of that. And yet we’re spinning in a circle.
- It's not quite first Warriors title level of staring you in the face, but Detroit is so far ahead in the standings that they should be taken more seriously as the clear favorite in the East.
- You wanted to see a free flowing offense with off ball movement and aesthetically pleasing? Not me!
- Imagine this in Big E’s voice then you’ll get it
- Many point to Harden being the reason the Sixers lost to the Celtics three years ago. That’s not true really - he fell apart in 4 of 7 games but they only one 2 of the other 3 because of him - but his stuff doesn’t work as well when the game tightens up. It’ll only get worse.
- Cleveland and Memphis overcommitted cash to young cores who haven’t played as well as hoped and are blowing their teams to smithereens instead of taking a breath.
