- Zig has started to reimplement libc (news.ycombinator.com/item?id=4685...), which is exciting. I asked Claude what this means for macOS, where libc linking is a bit trickier.
- Another benefit: smarter I/O scheduling. Even on macOS, Zig could route all I/O through kqueue transparently as it owns the layer above the syscalls.
