- john wick smashing the floor but it's to get a shure microphone to record podcasts and it's not john wick it's me
- Toonami getting ready to show the first six episodes of Cyborg 009 again:
- I think it's really charming that Hot Wheels still cost basically a dollar. I would love to collect stuff that was a dollar but unfortunately I don't really care about cars that much mostly

- if the detective goes to a bar and watches a beautiful woman sing a song called Six Pennies For My Bus Fare or He’s A Funny Kind Of Guy, it’s a noir. If it’s a torch song called Darling I’m The Culprit In This Mystery or What Happens In This Movie, it’s a neo-noir

- Getting quoted into the argument matrix is never worth it, but this time somebody said that because of my 2k follows I have a responsibility to report facts, which made me laugh. No I don't! I have a responsibility to post drawings of mentally ill characters with fat asses in historical clothing
- that's enough of that. Hey, you know what, I hope everyone's faith in their party is rewarded! lol
- It’s not the last day of the sale, but it is the last day to have read some of Misericorde in 2025. Or all of it if you’re a really fast reader!

- RIP Mike F. One of the funniest people online and a very talented craftsman, I always loved seeing the signs etc he was working on
- If you're wondering how things are on Twitter: the other day I opened it and idly clicked on a post that mentioned airpods. Now if I open the site anew it defaults to a for you tab full of content about airpods

- we wish you an oomfie christmas
- If you're ever bored, you should just look up any movie from before 1970 or so on Letterboxd, then sort reviews by lowest rating first
- Singin’ in the Rain (1952)
- It's sale season again and Volume Two has its deepest discount yet! Under ten bucks waow that's a lot of nun for none money
- And Volume One is 50% off, meaning you can nab both of 'em for less than the price of Vol. Two on its own normally if you haven't read either yet!
- "look we're not using AI in the final product we're just using it to speed up the conceptual stage" is what a lot of dopes affecting an enlightened middle position keep saying. I truly do not get that one. You hate imagining stuff? You don't like thinking and conceptualizing? Get a grip

- 35 Electric is my upcoming visual novel! This is what I've been up to while resting and recharging for Misericorde: Volume Three. You can watch the trailer in much higher quality here: youtu.be/dOy2QorJCzw
- 35 Electric is set in the Pacific Northwest in 1959. Just like Misericorde, I wrote, illustrated, and composed music for it. @aerialshading.bsky.social is also contributing graphic design, and designed the logo/title you see in the trailer!

View full threadI've said this a few places, but after two straight years of nuns I needed to take a breather and draw/write something slightly different in-between. Rest assured Volume Three is also coming along well, and will be all the better for this detour! A huge thanks everyone for their continued support 🙏
- hmm...

- plexamp drives me nuts with this too. it's a feature I actually enjoy for playlists, but albums doing it by default is mind-bogglingly bad. The other day I was listening to an album that already has carefully mixed track transitions and it just made every song start a measure too early
- pluribus is really fun. but it does have the misfortune of airing alongside the chair company, which is a format parody as laser-accurate and mean as 'how to write an alt-j song' or 'ooh i love my wife'
- Misericorde Vol. Two: White Wool & Snow came out on December 30th, 2024. But in my brain that is 2025
- preaching to the choir but I need generative AI dead in a ditch yesterday man. Watching literally everything I have an interest in both professionally and personally get enveloped and strangled by this bullshit is insane
- as much as I love records I have basically given up on buying vinyl because the past decade turned it into a collector-market-oriented, funkofied nightmare, but that pales in comparison to how impossible it is about to become to "have fun or work on the computer"

- cyber monday mostly seems to be about USB hubs
- got a Dragnet DVD for 99 cents and this might be one of the worst transfers I've ever seen lol

- Including the Alexa one that's going around I've seen three ads this week where an actor says "say less" and "let's go" in some order. Embarrassing inauthentic slang usage in ad copy isn't anything new, but if I put my tinfoil hat on, it really feels like some LLM gave every studio the same idea lol
- CHATGPT: Okay, let's dream up an ad that will turn heads. You don't just need a good ad--you need to make your product the star of the show. You can connect with your audience with phrases like "say less" and "let's go" AD GUY WHO HAS BEEN MEANING TO GET AROUND TO WATCHING MAD MEN: fuck that's good
- directors are not named things like Howard Hawks or Busby Berkeley anymore
- Reposted by it’s xeeceea new team-up!! i have been working with the 『of the Devil』 team @nthcircle.bsky.social to write some brand new tracks debuting in episode 2 this december!! here's a teaser...
- walking around muttering zuzuzuzu all day because of this
