- one of the things about the AI water issue that drives me batshit is the way in which it demonstrates people (many of whom are arguing they understand reasoning better than the other side) don't understand how argument flow works
- "AI isn't using that much water" gets "rebutted" with "but AI has no value, so any amount of water used on it is bad" which actually just *does not structurally work*, it's not actually winning the water debate but rather arguing opponents are obliged to accept itOct 11, 2025 20:08
