- Big last day of school before summer vibes at work for me yesterday, except in this case summer is diving into life taking care of a newborn again. Excited to move out of the "hurry up and wait" phase into the full on chaos.
- Final baby prep going well. Will definitely know what this reminder means later.

- This post from @ryancordell.org got me curious to try out Claude Code, so I am trying it out now. Using it to try to recreate the Virginia Woolf project from my dissertation project. Will share notes and thoughts here as I go.
- The project is documented on my blog here - walshbr.com/tag/woolf/. My dissertation was on sound recordings in modern and contemporary literature. We know Virginia Woolf was a typesetter and printer. Her use of quotation marks became highly irregular at one point in her career. I wanted to know why.
- So I worked with @erochest.bsky.social in the @scholarslab.bsky.social to put together an ML pipeline that trained on her prior uses of quotation marks, stripped them out, then used the model to guess where they should be in the first place. We then applied that model to known and unknown texts.
