- I showed up late to a game of Catan once, got bored and ended up creating the papercraft prototype for this:
- It begins! Final assembly.
- Neighbors begged us for some wifi access while they sort some bills, and now they're streaming TV too loud after 11pm after not doing that for months. And now here I am looking at the settings of my router's guest network contemplating shenanigans...
- Cooked a 16# turkey. The full half of that bird going into the fridge says I went a tad overboard. Came out tasty though!

- Shoutout to whatever genius decided that in DnD 2024 the best thing to give the Elementalist Monk at 6th level was "Fireball, But With Options". 20' Burst in 120' range, 3 x Martial Arts die damage in 1 of 5 flavors, DEX save for half. Costs 2 Focus Points. 'Cuz sometimes, ya just gotta blast 'em.

- Favorite Sophie Devereaux in action moment: tricks the mark into telling a delivery agent to hand a painting over to Sophie. Personal experience: walked in the back door of a casino with my tool box on a hand truck while waving to the guard, who didn't know me from Adam in a tee-shirt and jeans.
- WIP: take two on the right-hand panel, the first attempt was a tad sloppy so I used it as a dye test, and boy oh boy did my use of Resolene as a resist work poorly - terrible coverage. I redid the right panel much cleaner, and put the FIRST coat of Resolene on that, plus a SECOND on the left.
- DnD tonight: Pulled off a jailbreak with remarkably little drama due to combination of 'Pass Without trace' and 'Invisibility' spells. Unfortunately the ambush on our escape route was exceedingly proficient... 1/2
- ... and I took an arrow from an assassin - between a Nat 20, Sneak Attack, and friggin' Poison damage, it hit for 73HP. I deflected 11 points with Dope Monk Shit, but had to eat the remaining 62. I had 33HP to start. Luckily! the Cleric had revivify and the DM is relaxed for spell components.
