- Do I understand anything going on in “Industry?” Not really. But imma eat it up.
- Well okay… I did adult shit today.
- Started including walking on an incline as part of my workout and while my butt may thank me for it later, my legs are miserable NOW.
- Grandmothers really have a strange power where you feel their unconditional love one minute and then, somehow, they make you hate yourself????????
- Threads is such an interesting place where people are so passionate about mundane things to argue or troll about.
- I think the general access to everyone, regardless of who you follow, really emboldened people to feel entitled to their shitty opinions and personality and making it everyone’s problem.
- Whenever people who aren’t part of my org connect and follow-up multiple times about application or inquiry updates I wanna hide under my bed because I’m literally just one person and everyone’s asking for really big things and they don’t realize it so they’re going to email about ten more times.
- People keep asking for “large, peaceful actions” to push back against fascism, and what they mean is “convenient.”
- Something about connecting with an HOA Social Committee about addressing local ICE Raids & being told they have to determine if it’s in their scope of work bc their responsibilities include “creating opportunities for neighbors to come together & connect — adults, families, etc. :)” is something.
- This is a fucking family issue.
- Oh, Miranda is about to annoy me and I’m going to love it.
- ICE has been arresting my neighbors, preying on folk at a local train station where many delivery people (mostly immigrants) take shortcuts during their route, and where folk travel through just to get home. Councilman Jake Ephros is hosting an emergency meeting: actionnetwork.org/events/feb-1...
