- Check out this really incredible example of xanthochroism in a warbler. This is a condition of excess yellow color deposition in the feathers, but in this case the naturally melanic patterns seem to be overriding the excess yellow, making for a gorgeous bird 🪶 macaulaylibrary.org/asset/163805...
