This is basically a hockey account and take photos and do weather on here.
- Sun getting buried by on shore flow . Will make it tougher to warm up.
- Canes resume play on February 26 20 days out at Lenovo Center.
- Brandon Bussi been a star and tremendous positive for the Canes this season with a 23-3-1 record. Brandon Bussi certainly will be in Vezina conversation if he was too win 30 games.
- Still think the Canes should experiment with Jacob Slavin and Alexander Nikishin and Shane Gostisbehere and Jalen Chatfield for a more balanced offense without sacrificing defense.
- The Canes will need to make adjustments after the break if there gonna go on a long playoff run. The line of Stankoven Blake and Hall gonna need to make adjustments as the offense has dried up and there is not enough physicality and board play on that line.
- Canes defensive corps has been excellent and continues to play excellent hockey.
- Canes top line of Aho Svech and Jarvis all playing like Allstars leading up to the break and don't give up that much defensively. The Staal line has done a excellent job defensively and Producing timely offense. And Mark Jankowski line has done a fine job filling in and playing fine hockey.
- Despite the Canes not scoring 3 goals in last night's game the Canes go into the break 33-4-6 over the 57 games played.
- Canes in there last 34 games have given up 2 goals or less in 17 of those 34 games. The Canes are 22-1 when they allow 2 goals or less.
- Canes on winning end of a 2-0 game as Andrei Svechnikov scored in first period and Jordan Staal on a empty net goal as the Canes head into the break with a 12-1-3 record in there last 16 games.
