Adam Yaney-Keller
PhD candidate at Monash University, studying coastal species and applied ecology: finding better ways to detect and remove as well as long-term and hidden effects of entanglement on ocean predators (Australian fur seals).
- Currently attending ICCB 2025 to talk about my PhD work using thermal drones to better detect fur seals entanglements in fishing gear and marine debris, and the long term effects of those entanglements on health and behaviour! Talk is Monday in Ecology and Behaviour I and poster 101 same evening!
- Always fun to see your drone photo and research pop up in "recommended reading!" Thanks @yahoonews.com for covering our new Bio Reviews paper on the use of drones for studying wildlife ecophysiology onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/... @monashbiol.bsky.social; Phillip Island Nature Parks
