After Columbine I thought we would move heaven and earth to prevent mass shootings.
We did nothing and now they are almost a daily occurrence.
Today we watched an ICE thug brutally murder an American citizen in cold blood. A young mother.
If we do nothing this too will become a daily occurrence.
We cannot afford the price of normalizing such atrocities anymore.
The bare minimum needed in this moment:
- a thorough investigation led by state law enforcement
- the ICE thug brought up on murder charges
- Kristi Noem’s resignation
- a complete overhaul of ICE with rigid congressional oversight
- Trump censured for his lies about the murder
