- can't wait for the new gorillaz album, this song is one of their best flimsy steves
- if you vote for me as your president, I will mandate an obligatory gamer license obtainable through beating a single point and click game without guides. Preferably something nice and easy, like The Longest Journey
- alternatively beating me in Quake III Arena will suffice
- Hey, being loud matters, Adobe just announced Animate will stay. 👏
- Adobe's discontinuation of Animate isn't only a hit towards animation artists, it's also a strong pivot towards AI and a warning: any of their hands-on features we use daily in our creative work may get discontinued any day and replaced by genAI features. Learning alternatives is crucial right now.
- Another warning re: Pinterest: it used to be pretty on point with genAI badges, but not anymore. A lot of obvious AI isn't marked, while I've seen some older VTES art with AI badge. No option to report it. Artists, your work can be marked as AI by Pinterest and displayed that way to thousands.
- Here's an example with midjourney prompts with almost *nothing* marked (or nothing at all, couldn't find a single badge): pl.pinterest.com/search/pins/... Here's VTES art from Camille Défarge wrongfully marked as AI: pl.pinterest.com/pin/67554681... Stay vigilant & check for your works.
- Few months ago, as a response to the frequent complaints on genAI, Pinterest added an option to opt out of seeing AI-generated content. This option is now gone; instead, you can edit your "GenAI interests." Despite turning off everything, my feed is now filled with AI slop. (1/3)
- I used to be able to tailor my personal algorithm by teaching it a few times with clicks and picking "not interested" option. Hell, there's even an option that appears under individual pins now (sometimes, not always!) to "show less <theme> AI content". I clicked that option 100+ times last week.
- I can't get what I need from the app anymore and I'm first in queue to switch the moment a good alternative appears. If anyone knows anything similar (preferably with direct URL reposting from other websites to maintain the source of the image), please let me know. Pinterest is unusable now.
- finished first season of the Pitt, damn, that was a good one. don't reject it simply because it's yet another medical show. really needed something like that right now tbh, reminder we have people around who do real good stuff that matters
- how was Persona 5 this real
- Just did the training tutorial in Highguard, damn that's a fun concept for a game, but it feels like one of those games that would be miserable with randoms. Gotta have a team to play with. Wish there were bot matches to get through the proper loop multiple times.
- the pain of social anxiety when you stand waiting for public transport near someone with the cutest pitbull on the planet but are too anxious to ask if you can pet :(((
