- I finished Doll's Nest, really pleasantly surprised by how good it was! For such a small team it's incredibly impressive how well they managed to execute "what if armored core was a souls game". Biggest thing for me was hearing Mitose Noriko in the soundtrack! Shame there's only music in bosses :)
- it's crazy how much of the game is "If I were to make a game it'd want it to be like *this*", from the environments, concepts, gameplay etc. the OST especially - I've got a bunch of Taishi+みとせのりこ bookmarked as "music i'd want in a game" so it was crazy booting it up and hearing it on the main menu

- the sewer drain for my block is blocked so i called the city to get it fixed and now there's like 3 police cars and a fire engine outside, the whole street's taped up like a crime scene, and my drain's still blocked :/ my kitchen is flooding every time someone upstairs washes their hands 😭 save me

- i feel kinda bad for saying it but i really don't think Expedition 33 is a GOTY contender 😭
- i don't think it's a bad game by any stretch, but unfortunately the parts that i've found the most memorable and fun were the optional asset-flip foddian rage-game jumping puzzle hell challenges and i'm not sure that's a good look for the rest of the game 😐
- i'm so glad my birthday's finally over the past few years especially it's been cursed, there's always something. maybe i should just pick a new birthday. like a queen.
- maybe it should be based on some natural event. like the first dawn chorus of the great tits and chaffinches or something. the peak of the lyrid meteor showers. idk
