- Reposted by AlexSincerely delighted to discover, 45 minutes into this nearly-wordless three-hour documentary about French monks who take vows of silence, that among the reasons they *can* talk is "to make sure the monastery cats know when it's mealtime by making little kitty-calling noises at them."
- After decades without, I have one of these in my life again. I am ridiculously happy about it.
- On Saturday, this floated into my yard. I keep thinking about who it might have belonged to and hoping they are OK. A friend said to frame it, but it was much too fragile. It crumbled to pieces not long after I took the photo. It stopped long enough to be seen and remembered. And now it’s gone.
- I’ve seen various posts showing charred pages of text. That this was music made it somehow both more beautiful and sad.
