Guys they are really, really not winning
It sucks what they’re doing to our country, and my city especially
God only knows how much damage they’ll do before they’re stopped, much of it irreversible
But they are very much not winning
Given that they are not winning, and in fact probably cannot win, the goal needs to be stopping them, as quickly and permanently as possible, so that we have to rebuild less in the aftermath
Their plan was to take the momentum of their initial shock victory, measly as it was, and push through all the lines of resistance, counting on each one to fold out of pragmatism, so their strength was never tested. But Minneapolis didn’t fold, their strength was tested, and they broke instead.
Now what? They can’t regather their momentum. They’re much weaker than before and even their strongest wasn’t strong enough. Their leaders are detested, their cult of personality is built around a rotting human mound, they cannot regain the initial shock. The ship is sinking; who will board it now?
It’s one thing to get pushed back. It’s another to attempt a charge right into the heart of the enemy. If it peters out halfway, you’re not just losing, you’re going to be annihilated. Trump is fast arriving at that moment

perhaps we could sue the stock holders
The more Trump's regime flails at the negative response to their poorly thought out fascism attempt the more new negative energy builds up against him. Only a small fraction of the US electorate, still too high of course, would support him actually trying to cancel elections.
They thought Minnesota would be an easy target that would quickly cave.
I think I agree with this but I also think the onset of spring is going to change the tenor of trying one of these sorts of invasions again.
(or they might not try again and just slowly dispatch more and more teams in a dispersed way to fill up those camps)
