- its the dead of night and im trying so hard to find words abt the connection between bonanas struggle with personhood and having assumptions placed onto him and zenos representing the apex of that projection, to the point of violating his very being for the sake of getting what he wants
- everyone assumes the wol is strong, that they can handle anything, take down anyone. no one ever stops to think about if they cant. if theyre scared. no one ever asks if the wol is comfortable being in the same room as the monstrous and entitled white prince of the fascist empire
- immediately after in from the cold bonana refused to think about himself. how could he, his feelings never mattered in the equation of being the wol. he instead turned to mourn the unnamed soldier likely left to die confused and alone as their body was taken. because thats what the wol does

- ill be honest as someone who doesnt have much going on in life ffxiv is the perfect game with an endless variety of tasks to keep me from going stir crazy. on top of that the story is infinitely engaging in that i dont think ive ever been driven to think so deeply about a single oc. -
- then theres modding aspect, which for me is half of it being the perfect springboard for learning 3d modeling. id wanted to figure out blender for YEARS but never had a goal to work towards, until i realized i could do it to bring my characters to life the way i wanted. -
- and then i ended up filling a niche with making things specifically for lala that arent just cutesy feminine dresses, because i figured no one else was gonna do it
- btw. cannot recommend this mod enough if you are someone sick to death of crafter flashbangs (even if you dont craft yourself you can set it to affect other people and oh my GOD does it make a difference)

- whenever i mention the things bonana cant remember from ew thats definitely one of them, bc in the moment he had mentally blacked out after it happened and spent the entire dungeon completely dissociating. all he could think about was how much he wanted to kill zenos
- i really do wish i was brave enough to say the things i really want to say about zenos. i will leave it at my perception of him is very colored by him being a man of power pursuing a 3 ft lesbian

- since the cake dungeons got me thinking about it can i confess it took me an embarrassing amount of time to realize rolanberries were strawberries. which makes it funny that sasabes nickname is straberi bc i could never figure out how to explain that in-universe
- there is one single instance of the word in one of the namazu quests but the icon is different so idk if i could chalk it up to her being more familiar with the far eastern term. whatever. shes berry thats all that matter
- i take. SO many screenshots that i try to keep organized bc otherwise id lose my mind looking for things to start, in the standard game folder i have a separate folder for gposes (i have a different hotkey set for reshade), but i dont organize it beyond that. every now and then ill clean it out -
- and move things into the organized folder on my harddrive that is split up into gposes + the variety of gameplay shots i take. and then gposes specifically are further split into year/month folders so its easy for me to find specific ones
