- 1. New FEC filings reveal that DraftKings and FanDuel, have emerged as major donors for the 2026 midterms, pouring millions into Super PACs. Previously, the companies have limited their political giving to state politics. While the spending is bipartisan, it thus far tilts towards Republicans.
- 2. The deluge of cash reflects the national ambitions of the two companies and their desire to curb federal legislation and regulation that could blunt their expansion. The companies oppose bills that could restrict advertising and fund efforts to combat gambling addiction.
- 3. On 12/16/25, DraftKings donated 500K to SLF, a Super PAC dedicated to maintaining GOP n control of the Senate. DraftKings also donated $2M to a newly formed SuperPAC, Win for America, which then funneled another $500,000 to the American Conservative Fund, a dark money group that works w/the SFL
