Fantastic work. I remember practice cutting silver: cutting negative space from coins & leaving only obvers reverse design. It's exacting & tedious.
As I looked thru, your work triggered a few design ideas. I'll send those to you, you can make them come to life. :D
awesome i love custom work. i dont cut things in the traditional way with a hand held saw i use a dewalt scroll saw. its much easier to push the metal thru a moving blade than to push a blade through metal
Smart! The saw blades snap like thread w/ a wrong move or snag. I spent more on saw blades than silver. Aluminum is the new silver too & probably getting as expensive. Lots to recycle.
I'll sketch & send. I prefer subtle messaging. I'm canning tomatoes today, 😂 but I'll drop them in a DM
cool. yes i get much more accurate cuts much faster and without breaking blades. i taught myself how to do it so i have innovations that mystify most jewelers i also use motor oil to lubricate which helps to prevent blade breaking
You're a true Creative, the source of the best work I've ever seen. Discipline is valuable, but without creativity = copying. I love the Experiment, so I'm on the same page.
Been a while since I did metal work. I'm OK w/ design tho. I'll live vicariously thru you. lol
