- I confess myself tired of Dracula movies. The last one where horror gives way to boredom as we are literally told the plot about to happen, said plot occurs in strange, but not scary manner, and then Dafoe's character tells us what we have just seen didn't scare me so much as sap my will to live.
- This has me shook, NGL. It's one thing to know depravity exists, it's another to have it exposed as being ubiquitous amongst the rich and powerful.
- This email beggars the imagination. A good chunk of crank conspiracy stuff turns out to be true. This is in violent contradiction to my entire professional career but I guess the rich elites live in another (depraved) world. How men behave. GTFO of here.
- This is the Yale professor's explanation for why he described the physical attractiveness of a student in an email to Epstein. He explicitly says he regrets nothing about their association. Again, I'm so happy Yale hired David Brooks to restore trust. yaledailynews.com/articles/gel...
- Juxtapose Shakespeare with this orange idiot.
- Prescient 400 years ago, equally damning today.
- Sir Ian McKellen performing a monologue from Shakespeare’s Sir Thomas More on the Stephen Colbert show. Never have I heard this monologue performed with such a keen sense of prescience. Nor have I ever been in this exact historical moment.TY Sir Ian, for reaching us once again. #Pinks #ProudBlue
- Newsletter dropped yesterday. I have some writing updates, an essay (2 really) about what we can do to meet this moment. And a palate cleanser photo at the end. Check it out and sign up here: bit.ly/authorryanva...
- "We'll talk soon. Until then, be brave and take care of each other."
- If you're like me, you've felt helpless a lot lately. I have some thoughts on that as well as some ways to help out and stick together in this month's newsletter. Also a short writing update and a cute picture at the end! bit.ly/authorryanva...

- This!
- I mean, the Epstein Files show that while these clowns weren't the architects of things like Brexit or the like, they were quick to support it and co opt the leaders for their own ends. I don't know why this would be any different - seems not only plausible but likely.
