- Reposted by AllyBrentford were so successful at set pieces that they promoted their set piece coach to manager and got the whole Premier League obsessed with set pieces and now as a result they're just sort of ordinary at set pieces

- It is amazing what 2 goals v Celtic will do for you. A month ago Rangers fans on FF were alleging corruption in our £8m purchase of Chermiti, wanting Thelwell Investigated for fraud, suggesting we pay him off. Now mostly backing the club's decision to reject £13m for him!
- Rangers have rejected an offer of around £13million for striker Youssef Chermiti from Fenerbahce. The Rangers Review understands the offer was made last week and Chermiti - who cost £8million in the summer - is considered not for sale this month. www.rangersreview.co.uk/new...

- I deleted my Amazon account after this. The final straw. Clear bribery and corruption to a fascist president.
- Which is why there will surely be no Haiti fans at their games, for example. Which is why FIFA should take the WC off the USA - not only can't the US guarantee the safety of fans, they will actively be attacking and kidnapping them.
- 1-0 up at half-time. Poor game tbh, we have barely got out of 2nd gear, and Ludogorets don't look very good. As long as we win, I don't care.

- Reposted by AllyTake a look at The Telegraph's view on Trump. Every single 'columnist' (I use the term loosely) utterly wrong and totally disproven. Never read again.
- This is why something needs to change between now and June. Even if Trump pulls back a bit, goes quiet on Greenland for a while... as soon as WC is over, Europe loses this leverage if he threatens Greenland (or any of the rest of us) again. This is why I think the WC should be taken off them now.

- Reposted by AllyWe seem to have normalised the Premier League's inability to conclude the Manchester City case. The years this thing has taken is pathetic. The longer it has taken the more people have forgotten the magnitude of the alleged offences. Time passing has had a kind of watering down affect on allegations
- Again I'm wondering how on earth the World Cup can go ahead as expected. European nations don't have loads of leverage v the US but we could propose a boycott, which would cause chaos at FIFA and threaten Trump's ego. Trump is going to turn the whole world against USA (except Russia obvs).

- Barron superb, also with 2 assists as our new corner kick taker, Raskin brilliant too and got a goal, and other goalscorer Fernandez with some really good defending (and a few brainfarts) too. Another win, another clean sheet, good evening all in 👍👍👍
- This is a good point. Brilliant to have a new set-piece coach who can win games for us on his own. But we have been rubbish at creating and taking chances in open play all season, we can't rely on set-pieces all season!
- Reposted by AllyFT 2-0 A solid 3 points at a cold Ibrox this evening as Rangers got the job done early in the 1st half. Improvement in all areas. Connor Barron brilliant with 2 assists against his old ‘stepping stone’ club. Raskin looking like he's hitting some form. We move into 2nd place, 3 points behind Hearts.
- Reposted by AllyYoussef Chermiti was offered the chance to not take the No.9 jersey this season following his move from Everton. An Old Firm brace was a sign of Chermiti living up to the shirt and repaying the faith and fee. Chris Jack has the inside story ⤵️ tinyurl.com/494ar3wb

- Reposted by AllyA legend is born. Butland still the man of the match for me. We could have been 4-0 down. Great half by Dio. Fernandez was strong. Tiny mistake keeping Assgaard on after the goal. Don't blame him for ducking the Yang challenge at the goal, but having been sent off in the semi, his head was gone.
- This is an important point I think, it buys Rohl a lot of credit = time. He's definitely now here til the end of the season at least!
- Brilliant second half performance and result today! Butland, Souttar, Raskin - the experience in the spine all stepped up today to lead that victory. Chermitti makes himself a hero too, what a day!
- He’s only gone and bloody done it - In Danny Röhl we trust - #nonceymuststay

- FIFA actually must withdraw the World Cup from the USA now. Canada and Mexico plenty big enough to run it themselves. And I have to consider cancelling my flights 🥺
- I know it's not the most important thing, I'm gutted by these events as a Scotland fan with flights & accomm in NYC next June. I wouldn't go to Russia or Israel rn. Was already unsure about going to US given their ICE operations atm. Bombing Caracas & abducting Maduro feels like a red line crossed.
- It also seems more likely now that they'll continue, IMO, going for Greenland, or my second home Colombia (or Mexico or Canada that they've threatened!). My only hope is that Trump is overthrown or dies in the next few months. There is NO WAY the WC should be hosted by a Trump-run US.
- I also see that sounds really selfish. I want him overthrown, imprisoned, in the ground, because he's a fascist! Not just because I want to go the US to watch Scotland at the WC. But I do also want to go to the US to watch Scotland in the WC and currently planning lots of time & money for that.
- Reposted by AllyThis year’s World Cup already had a Berlin Olympics 36 feel to them. How difficult would it be for Canada and Mexico to host on their own? Even if it meant scaling things down … just imagine there has been an earthquake and the USA isn’t capable of hosting.

- Reposted by AllyMan City have spent more than £500m pounds on new talent since being charged with more than 100 Premier League rule breaches. As another window opens, they’re poised to add another top talent, and still there is no ruling. Shames the Premier League how long it’s taken. Man City deny the allegations
- We were much better second half. Even Aasgaard played ok (and scored the winning goal). We should have scored 3-4, especially with our chances at the end. Somehow Rohl keeps on getting us points and I still feel hopeful - if we can get Souttar, Cornelius, Bajrami back and a few good Jan signings 👍

- No change for Rangers so far today - vulnerable at the back and impotent in attack. Motherwell passed us off the park for the first 20 mins. We were better after that and made a few chances but I think Butland has been busier than their keeper. Needs to be better second half.
- Get him in the Scotland squad for the World Cup. Never seen him play but I'm not joking.

- Some fans outraged if we re-sign Windass, saying he has a bad attitude. Does he? Or is he just a bit thick? I don't remember his bad attitude... and we don't sign anyone for their intellectual acumen. Rohl was his coach for 2 years at SW, presumably knows his attitude better than any of us.
- Obvs I would be worried if we were paying good money for him on a multi-year contract, but a loan, as a stop-gap while we have 3 rubbish strikers we probably can't get rid of yet... I'd say he'd offer us something a bit different, and is a goal threat, which we desperately need.
- Reposted by Ally6 months left in his contract and a release clause. Sign him now!

- FAO Scotland fans. About three-quarters of tickets for Haiti & Morocco games will be Category 1 (most expensive). Hardly any Category 3 (least expensive) seats at all, and Cat 4 is a joke.
- This is spot on. Doesn't matter how hard the squad works if players make elementary mistakes to let the opposition score. Rohl's got a near-impossible defensive situation for next 3+weeks with just Fernandez, Tav, Sterling & Nsiala at CB. We need Souttar back ASAP, definitely for Celtic game.
- Danny Rohl was 'very angry' about the goals that Rangers conceded in their defeat to Ferencvaros. Rohl also addressed the injury to Bojan Miovski and rumours of Villarreal's interest in Djeidi Gassama. www.rangersreview.co.uk/int...

- FIFA would have to move the World Cup - just make it Canada & Mexico with a big gap in-between - if this proposal was actually enacted. Seems completely unworkable and hugely costly & damaging to US tourism. I can't see it happening (perhaps wishful thinking as I've already booked flights).
