- There are always predators in my garden, I never have to use toxic sprays. 🌱🕸️
- Path near San Simeon, CA leading to San Simeon Point. 🌲
- Another visitor to my Tithonia, a Fiery Skipper.
- Tithonia is one of my favorite flowers because it reseeds prolifically and the insects love it.
- I'm back at the ocean to cool down plus enjoy the sights, sounds and smells. 🌊
- It's the perfect time of year for me to visit the Pacific Ocean, it's been 100 degrees or more the past couple of weeks at home and mid 60's at my favorite place, Montana de Oro. 🌊😎
- My crinums are blooming, they always provide nice color in the middle of summer, they don't mind the heat. 🌱🥵
- My Dragon Fruit plant is blooming. It's a full moon and I love going outside at night to enjoy it's beauty. By noon the next day the flowers are done. 🌱

- Good morning glory 🌱💜
- Hydrangeas and Shasta daisies are in bloom in the garden 🌱

- It's zinnia season, they love the heat. 🌱
- The Ancient Bristlecone Pine Forest in the mountains near Bishop, California is a must stop for me during my summer road trips. I'm always amazed how these trees can live over 4,000 years in such a harsh environment. There are several trails you can take and lots of wildflowers this time of year. 🌲🏞️
- More bugs in my garden 🐜🐲🌱
- Great Basin is probably my favorite national park. It's uncrowded, has no entrance fees, contains trees almost 5,000 years old, includes a cave you can tour and a road that climbs to over 10,000 feet ending in an aspen forest in the heart of the mountains. 🏞️ #nationalparks
- I love it when my sansevieria blooms, it has the most delicate lovely smell. 🌱
- One of my favorite insects for pollinator week are the hummingbird moths. They love the lantana flowers in my garden. 🌱🦋
- It's pollinator week. I always let some of the volunteer sunflowers grow because the bees love them 🌱🍯
- Cool as a cucumber 🌱😎
- I love bugs 🐜🐛🌱
- Hollyhocks are blooming and the figs are starting to ripen. 🌱
- Spiders are out in the garden on the Talavera and basil. I love the little critters. 🌱🕷️
- All the wildflowers have dried up except the datura, and the bees are enjoying them. I bet that's some good honey 🌱🍯
- Fly on my coreopsis flower. I love this plant, it's a prolific self seeder, once you start them they come up year after year. 🌱🌼
- Tomatoes are ripening, rudbeckias are blooming, and the snails are everywhere. 🌱🍅🌼🐌

- Lots happening in my garden this month, including harvesting the garlic, tomatoes-squash and beans starting to fruit and a variety of flowers blooming. 🌱🍅🧄💐
- Overshadowed by Yosemite and Sequoia National Parks, one of my favorite places is Kings Canyon. The descent into the canyon this time of year is filled with wildflowers and spectacular views with few cars. 🏞️
- The irises are about finished blooming for the year, but the roses will be going strong all summer and right up until they get their dormant pruning next January. 🌱🌹
- Natures wildflowers are as beautiful as anything I can grow. I always take my camera on my walks because you never know what is blooming. 🌱
- The zinnias are blooming and the pollinators are enjoying their nectar, especially the swallowtails and fiery skippers. 🌱🦋
- The berries are getting ripe in my garden, I love picking them fresh every day. I have several varieties, but my favorite are the olallieberries. I eat as many as possible then freeze the rest. And baby cucumbers🌱
- My favorite National Park to visit is Death Valley. My dad worked for the park service and we lived there when I was in high school, but I go back every year, it has a strange other world attraction. 🏞
- Coreopsis, gladiolus, iris and an unknown cactus blooming in the garden today. Lots of colors and variety. 🌱
- It's fascinating that such beautiful flowers emerge at night and are gone the next day from the cactus. I love getting up in the middle of the night and wandering through my garden. 🌱🌵
- The silk oak tree is blooming right now, it has a beautiful flower with a very intricate design. 🌱
- Vegetable flowers might not be as showy as ornamental flowers but what they lack in size they make up for in intricate patterns and beauty you have to really look for. 🌱
- Even after the clematis flowers are finished, they have these beautiful "starry pods", like looking into a microscopic universe. A tiny spider lives in this one 🌱🕷️🕸️
- A random assortment of flowers and colors blooming in my garden this month. 🌱
- In May at Yosemite, the dogwoods bloom. You can't beat natures garden. 🌱
