- 2025-03-08 The PURPLE MARTINS have arrived!!! We’re so excited! We didn’t have our poles and gourds up yet, but 7 AM I looked out and saw 3 martins flying. We hurried and put the poles up. Shortly after getting the gourds raised I caught this 15 second video of a pair claiming a gourd.
