Big dumb idiot
- Maybe it's time to reevaluate your relationship with your hobby if you find yourself posting stuff like this.
- ~23 hours until my GOTY 2026 drops.
- I love Joel but this is *my* MST3K. Wish it was more than four episodes but I'll happily take it.
- The worst part of a new Team Ninja "souls-like" releasing is having to endure the loot discourse all over again. As of Nioh 3 we're like six games in at this point, the loot system isn't going anywhere. If that's what's keeping you from playing them, I don't know what to tell you.
- *decide to download a mod for Star Trek: Bridge Commander* *find YouTube video of newest version of said mod* "Download the mod on our Discord!" *Discord invite link dead* *check comments* *dev posted a new link* *that link is also dead* STOP. HOSTING. STUFF. ON. DISCORD.
- Spent about 9 hours in the Nioh 3 demo. Thoughts: - Combat is still Nioh combat (good), the ninja/samurai style switch thing is...interesting. Not sure yet if I'm fully on board with it. - Open-field maps are fun. Nice change of pace, though I don't know how necessary they are.
- - Looooots of asset reuse from Nioh 2. Like, even a large portion of the music is recycled from 2. - PC performance is simultaneously not where you'd want it to be and also the best day-one PC performance a Team Ninja game has ever had, which says more about TN than anything.
- Overall it's more Nioh, which is always welcome, but I also don't really know if stuff like style switching and open-field maps were really necessary. Do they add anything meaningful to the Nioh experience? Right now I'm not sure. Gonna stick with it though. Not gonna just *not* play a new Nioh. 😅
