It is with a very heavy heart that I have to report that my beloved Abbey has passed away suddenly. I found her collapsed next to her food. Best I can tell, she had a heart attack while she was eating her favorite snack. She was my furry shadow and fluffy little princess and I miss her so much 💔

When I was flying back from a conference at NIST in 2016, I was missing Abbey terribly, and had Queen stuck in my head, so I spent the entire flight writing a parody to Bicycle Race, completely about Abbey. It took me 2 1/2 hours to write as I flew from BWI to BOS. I present to you: "Abigail"
