Anybody else kinda put off by Kermits voice in the new muppet show previews? It sounds like Temu Kermit. Kermot.
It's not Kermit, it's Constantine from Muppets Most Wanted
For real, they fired Steve Whitmire ,and replaced him with Matt Vogel, who played Kermit's doppelganger in MMW.
If they HAD to fire Whitmire (they didn't), they should have replaced him with Peter Linz, who plays Ernie on Sesame Street.
iirc Whitmire was upset at a plot in the 2015 show where Kermit, having broken up with Piggy, lies to Robin that they're still together. He felt Kermit should be honest with him and explain that sometimes adult relationships can end.
And supposedly the execs didn't take kindly to his pushback.
