- Today’s critters are a Blizzard of Dark-eyed Juncos. Usually have a few amongst all the others at the bird feeder. But last night they took over and weren’t bothered by Mia. Better understanding why a flock is called a Blizzard .

- Today’s critters are Canada Geese. Their honking call is noticeably different from the speckle belly geese call in a recent post. But both flocks were heading south to minimize cold spell impact.
