early prototype of Unholy Vengeance Girl Jessica, summer 2018, shortly after jessica 1 came to steam. the idea was to combine jessica assets with lilith zone mega model pack (crypt underworld etc) and basically do majoras mask. you were always going to start in the catacombs and exit into a hub zone
always felt weird that thunder (grapple) was the only one of the 3 main abilities that wasnt multi-purpose. now you can use it to magnetize distant items 🧲
testing multiple versions of the project and my save got corrupted and now it just spawns me in this room with both gates locked and no way out and the music looping forever
it's been fun to make jessica more talkative in the sequel... her voice pack came with a bunch of sounds, but we only ever used the one for jumping in the first game. she has more stuff to do now
ok back to work on demon girls... these 2 are how you access the music player so you can customize the hub zone with any tracks you've unlocked... stuff like this is always boring to set up but it's gonna be worth it
im working hard i gave each zone a title drop when u first arrive like in dark souls... i made tutorial overlays, i got it so the music in the first zone is different after u get 50% game progress... we r crafting an experience for u

im immune to sunk cost fallacy i spent a whole weekend modeling backgrounds for a visual novel just to see if i could but now im thinking the stock photos are funnier. heres more zones for u to admire. theyre ugly and beautiful and im slam dunking them into the trash
