- I’ve always debated back and forth with the prospect of doing one of these, so fuck it! Here is my media thread for 2026. If anything invokes a reaction that requires more than a paragraph, I’ll consider attaching a video with detailed thoughts.
- Is This Seat Taken? A delightfully whimsical debut game from Poti Poti Studio. Personally I feel that the theme could be expanded upon, yet it provides a fairly satisfying end point. The puzzles are neither trivial, nor frustratingly hard. Music is bland though. Relaxing way to begin the year.
- The Last Party (1993) Curious yet relatable watch; this documentary follows Robert Downey Jr.’s political awakening as he engages Americans across the ideological spectrum. His line “There are a lot of imperfections going on in my life and I am trying to be comfortable with them” is incredibly apt.
- The Irishman (2019) Conflicted feelings. Scorsese has a rare gift for turning the mundane parts of criminal life into something far more compelling than the hits themselves. The social, domestic and personal threads all intertwine into a path of pure misery. It's run time will filter most.
- As cliche as “New Years Resolutions” can be, I’ve decided to actively attempt a few for 2026. I have a variety of goals in mind, but one that is relevant here is to be more active and available again. Attempting to be a digital hermit is just contradictory given how the internet works!
