- Today, on behalf of MoveUP and USW 2009, MoveUP President Annette Toth presented Scott Lunny, president of The Union Protein Project, with a cheque for $55,000 as the charitable proceeds from the 2025 Bob Derby Memorial Charity Golf Tournament.

- MoveUP is proud to announce that a transition agreement has been reached for student employees at Capilano University. Student employees certified to join MoveUP earlier this year. #bclab
- The agreement will ensure that student employees have clear rights, wages, and protections under the collective agreement.
- Among the highlights include incumbent student employees accruing seniority starting from March 13, 2025, and student employees being placed at Pay Group 6 also retroactive to March 13, 2025, which represents nearly a $4/hour increase, with the ability to request a classification review.
