- We've all got a choice whether or not to work through our own trauma. If you don't, don't complain about how you still hurt from it all. If the option is there to stop hurting, don't blame anyone else for deciding not to take it. If you choose not to that's no one else's fault. End of. Own it.
- Up until 2022, I carried around a lot of hurt. I hadn't worked through my own hurt, my own trauma from a narcissistic parent, which had spiderwebbed through my life and fractured my self-belief, and my emotional states. I had to face it & work through it. the only way out was through.
- If you know the way out of your hurt is to do this, and you choose not to - take responsibility for the not healing from it. As I say - we've all got a choice. Don't blame anyone else for abdicating responsibility for your own mental health by avoiding doing the work you need to do to heal. x
