- 🔭 Yesterday I made a last attempt to capture 3I/ATLAS, our interstellar visitor. By now its brightness has faded to just magnitude 13.3, but after an hour of exposure it still showed up. A faint glimpse of a traveler from beyond our solar system. 😀 #Astrophotography #seestar #3iatlas #comet
- 🔭 In the constellation Cygnus lies IC 5146 (Cocoon Nebula). It’s a blend of reflection and emission nebula, wrapped around an open cluster of young stars. The nebula sits about 2,500 light-years away and spans roughly 4 light-years across. 😀 #Astrophotography #seestar @kat-astro-bot.bsky.social
- 🔭 Last night, finally a clear evening again! IC 1396, the Elephant Trunk Nebula in the constellation Cepheus. This nebula is a dark cloud of gas and dust with a striking, winding edge that glows brightly. Its shape resembles an elephant’s trunk, hence the name. 😀 #seestar @kat-astro-bot.bsky.social
- 🔭 Between the clouds, I still managed to make an attempt to capture ☄️ comet C/2025 K1 (ATLAS). At the moment it is moving through the constellation Camelopardalis, and with a brightness of magnitude 11.1 it’s not exactly a bright object. 😀 #Astrophotography #seestar #c2025k1 #comet

- 🔭 Earlier this evening, before the Moon rose, I spent about an hour tracking Comet C/2025 R2 (SWAN). Its brightness has now dropped to magnitude 8.4 and after rounding the Sun, the comet is heading back toward the distant regions beyond the Kuiper Belt. #Astrophotography #seestar #c2025r2 #comet
